The most recent AP Map for the Hollywood 7.5 Minute Quadrangle was released in November 2014 by the California Geologic Survey. The official map shows the Earthquake Zones of Required Investigation with a new format that combines Earthquake Fault Zones, Liquefaction Zones, and Earthquake-Induced Landslide Zones. This most recent map is the finalized update of the Preliminary Earthquake Fault Zone Map for the Hollywood quadrangle that was previously released in January 2014. The update was implemented after the agency reviewed additional geological and seismic data submitted for consideration during the public comment period. Because maps are updated periodically, please refer to our source, the California Geological Survey, to be sure you have the most up-to-date version.
